Above all, 8th grade Spanish is a course designed to initiate a lifelong interest in the Spanish language. Students will be expected to: - *Acquire basic conversational skills
- *Comprehend and use basic grammatical concepts
- *Learn the geographical placement of Spanish-speaking countries
- *Explore the connection between language and culture
- *Identify societal applications for the newly aquired language skills
(7th grade Spanish) 7th grade Spanish is the first part of Spanish I. The course standards/objectives are the same for 7th grade as for 8th grade. This introductory Spanish course is tied to both country and state standards. Spanish I is the prerequisite for all other Spanish courses that follow.
